東華三院黃笏南中學天文學會的歷史深遠悠久，在本校各個課外活動學會當中，可算是數一數二。本會向來是本校同學探索天文學知識的最佳地方。
秉承歷屆幹事會的宗旨，本會竭力透過各項新穎和富趣味性的活動，包括天文營，觀星晚會，專題講座和問答遊戲等，在本校推廣天文學。
突破書本的桎梏，我們帶領同學親身體驗和欣賞天文學的奧妙之餘，亦期盼能使同學掌握基本的天文學常識，從而培養對天文學的興趣和欣賞態度。
同時，我們也藉著不同的活動，增強同學間的友誼，而且協助同學紓緩緊張的學業壓力。
- Constitution -
Section I – Interpretations
1) “The Club” means the TWGHs Wong Fut Nam College AAstronomy Club.
2) The term “EXCO” means the Executive Committee off the society.
3) The EXCO has the sole right for theinterpretation of this Consitution .
Section II – General
Nature
Our Club is a non-profit making organisation
Objectives
1) to promote students and public interest in astronomy through activities such as lectures, visits, observations, exhibitions and astronomical courses
2) to provide a way for students to learn Astronomy.
Managment
The management of the Club is vested in the EXCO as elected in accordance with the provisions of this Consitution.
Funds
1) The funds could only be used on the objectives of the Society as stipulated in the articale “Objectives”
2) All expenses should be met by donations, fund-raising and annual subsription fees from members.
Section III – Membership
Admittance of membership
1) Appliction fow new membership for the following year should be made prior to the A.G.M. of he appropriate year.
2) The decision of the EXCO on the application for new membership is final.
Fee
All members of the Club should pay an annual subscription fee of 5 HKD only prior to the A.G.M.
Section IV – The Executive Committee
Functions
1) to manage the Club
2) to formulate and implement the policies of the Club in accordance with the provisions of the Consitution
Composition
1) The Committee should consist of the following honorary offices :
Chairman,

General Secretary,
Financial Secretary,
Director for Information and Coordination
Program Director
Promotion Director
IT Director
Section V – Meeting
Authority
The resolution of the General Meeting should possess the highest authority in all matters affecting the society
Annual General Meeting
1) The A.G.M. is held within the month of October each year
2) to receive and adopt the reports of activities and the minutes of all General Meetings which have been held since the previous A.G.M.
